It’s sad to see it go. The beautiful photography and in-depth articles about Vermont living was a celebration of our state, its values, and its beauty. Its final issue was the magazine at its best, with page after page of beautiful northern photography, local advertisements, and classic New England prose.
It also featured a story, written by Matt Crawford (with photos by Jerry Swope) entirely dedicated to the city of St. Albans and its transformation from rough-and-tough prison town to the picturesque city it is today.
Catalyst was featured prominently, as were other excellent downtown hot-spots.
Without the hard work of so many people for so many years, it’s unlikely we would’ve ever opened. Reading this article was a humbling experience and left me feeling ever so grateful for the community spirit we all have here.
